Lynx Indoor Ads – Online payment platform and shipping management

In 2021, Unilever launched “Lynx Indoor ads” in the United Kingdom. A new and revolutionary marketing campaign that would turn the homes of thousands of Instagram users into advertising spaces through banners in the shape of cushions, mini bus shelters for the fridge, and indoor billboards.

Problem Statement

During the lockdown, Unilever wanted to turn thousands of people’s homes into advertising spaces. For this, they needed a solid and reliable platform to process payments to creators, ship products, and validate thousands of accounts.

Our Solution

A custom platform was developed that allowed thousands of users to sign up for the campaign. Participation requests were made online through the platform, which was fully automated. Users had to verify their Instagram accounts, enter shipping information, and payment details. All of this was done completely autonomously and without any human supervision.

Results

As a result, over 4 million people were reached, with a request received every 1.8 seconds. The campaign became an international success, winning multiple awards including Eurobest and Ad Age.
